We’ve chosen the STHLM Pub Crawl as our main prototype to work with. During the latest group session we talked about how we can improve the app in any way, using the inspiration we got from the other concepts . We eventually came up with these new changes:
- When starting the crawl you can add a name for the crawl (e.g. “Trying Beer in Barcelona”) and add members of the crawl. You can also set if the crawl should be private (only you and your group members can see it) or public (everyone who has the app can see it).
- When you start the app you can see, and join, nearby public crawls. When you join a crawl you can see the name of the crawl, the number of members in the crawl and where they are.
- In order to do the pub crawl more interactive and fun to use we decided to represent other users (that are in the same crawl as you) on the in-app map as yellow dots. The crawl leader’s dot would have a different color. We thought that this could be a nice way to see where people are and where to go. So, this is how our prototype looks like now:
