Sara and Sanna worked together on the “regular” concept. We called it “Find a Beer Buddy”. Our field studies (and later our personas) made it clear that most backpackers like to meet new people and is often very spontaneous. They’re also often out travelling to explore (the people and the city) witch made us think about an application with a conceptual model based on the activities “explorings and browsing”. We thought the social aspect of it was very important as well. Earlier, in the group, we had discussed the increasing interest in beer culture so we created the idea called “Find a Beer Buddy”.
In short, it’s an app that allows beer-interested backpackers to find each other. The idea is that the user can add friends based on their location or their name. You are also able to rate the beer you’re drinking, share your ratings with friends and that way exploring and find a new favorite beers.
